Peach and I have taken lots of photographs over the past few years, and it has got me thinking about what defines a “pretty day”.
To me, every day that comes around, be it sunny and bright, rainy and gray, blinding snow, hurricane blown wind and rain, all have a pretty aspect. The are all something God allowed to form for one of his purposes.
Peach and I have captured a few of what we call pretty days on camera and I’d like to share a few here with you. Some you may have seen before others maybe not, all are special to us as it is time spent together photographing God’s creations, enjoy and please comment if you like or dislike, it’s how we learn.
God paints the pictures, Peach & I do our best to capture them to share.
Each day we are blessed to be a part of, be it stormy weather or clear skies, leaves an indelible mark on each of us, savor the moments you have, stop and look around, dance in the rain, the days are created for us to use, don’t waste them with “we’ll see, or I can do it later, or It’s too hot, it’s too cold”. Do what you can to enjoy the moments, and reflect upon those gone on ahead who are waiting for us.
“Pretty Days” to us is more a state of mind than an actual kind of day, hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoy taking them and sharing them.

Wonderful job capturing such exquisite beauty, Peach and Batman! Thank you so much for sharing. (That flood does look rather scary, I hope you were not in peril.) Those sky scapes over the water, the light through the trees, the stunning image of the trees silhouetted against the blue sky . . . ahhh! Such a delightful interlude, savoring these images.

Oops! Almost forgot!! That was either a Hurricane Matthew or Irma, I will have to ask Jerry for sure which one. It was much better than it could’ve been. But, not without risk!! He was on patrol.

Oh my goodness, no matter which: how scary! And, your resident superhero wasn’t even home! Well both of you are very strong and brave.
