Peach and I have discovered wine, now before you get all crazy let me explain. We have never been, nor will we ever be, big drinkers of anything but iced tea or water, but, we recently tried wine and discovered we still didn’t really like it. Was really sour and left an aftertaste. Tried several types too, still the same result, yuck! Read about them; white, red, pink, blah blah, read how they were best served blah blah. Somehow or another, probably due to the kangaroo on the bottle, we got some Yellow Tail “Big Bold Red” and stuffed it in the refrigerator, don’t ask why just did. Couple days later decided to try again and after searching around looking for it, found it in said refrigerator, poured a couple small glasses and drank them together, Peach and I, and actually liked it. Had a few more glasses with the same result. Under the guise of red wine is good for the heart, we have a glass now and then. Not every day, not large quantities, not to excess, but a glass, chilled and in a chilled glass.
Now you wine snobs out there just hold your tongue, I think the point the wine producers have is to sell wine for people to drink and enjoy however they like it. If this is the case, what’s wrong with having wine cold? If we like it cold? Anyways, Peach and I have discovered we like our one glass of wine, red, white, whatever, iced cold in a cold glass. If that’s not proper wine etiquette, oh well, I think we will survive just fine…
Hey, Peach, here’s your heart healthy Big Bold Red…love ya
